Chocolate Hotcakes with Dalgona cream

I recently participated in a foodie contest with Alpro wonderful plant based milks. I decided to take part in the current food trend, dalgona coffee and add it to a breakfast item - vegan chocolate flapjacks. To my surprise, I received a wonderful third prize gift from the team.


CHOCOLATE HOTCAKES, DALGONA COFFEE, CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE


HOTCAKES

Blend 1 banana with 1/2 cup oats and 1/4 cup Alpro chocolate soymilk. Add 1 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt. Blend it together and pour tablespoonsful on a heated nonstick pan to cook. Cook for 2 minutes on medium-low heat.


DRIZZLE

Mix 2 tbsp #alpro chocolate soymilk with 2 tbsp coconut oil and 1 TBSP coconut sugar. Heat and drizzle over flapjacks.


DALGONA COFFEE

whisk 1/4 cup instant coffee with, 1/4 cup hot boiling water and 1/4 cup sugar. Use an electric whisk or a stand mixer for best results. Serve with the pancakes, enjoy!
